There are two different equipment menus applicable to each character: the Equip menu (for weapons and armor) and the Relic menu (for Relics). You can cycle through each character's menus by pressing the L, R or Select buttons; however, there's no easy way to switch between the Equip and Relic menus for a certain character, except by returning to the main menu. This patch allows you to do that by pressing the Y button. This isn't a bug fix, just a cool new feature.
